I would like to sincerely thank everyone who attended Swing Thru Spring 2026 for being such an important part of another memorable weekend. I hope you enjoyed the event as much as our staff enjoyed calling and cueing for you! It’s hard to believe this marked our fourth year hosting Swing Thru Spring, and we’re already excited as we begin planning our 5th Anniversary event in 2027. We’re pleased to share that we’ll be returning to the Clarion Hotel & Conference Center next year.

While a few challenges arose during the weekend, as reflected in the survey responses we received, please know that we are taking your feedback seriously. We met with the conference center staff and are exploring several solutions to improve the acoustics in the dance hall. By next year, one or more of these improvements will be in place. We also appreciate everyone’s patience during the heating issue on Saturday morning; thankfully, the sunshine and energetic dancing warmed things up by the afternoon. The facility has apologized for the unexpected HVAC breakdown.

Finding the perfect venue is always a balancing act. We continue to look for a space with a 5,000–6,000 square foot wood dance floor, strong acoustics, seating, staging, appropriate lighting, and a reasonable cost—all in a location that’s convenient and offers affordable lodging and dining options. Our goal is to keep the weekend accessible and enjoyable for everyone, and on very short notice, the Clarion delivered a solid experience this year.
Most of all, we want to thank you—the dancers. The energy you brought to the floor this year was truly incredible! Your enthusiasm and responsiveness to the music inspired us, and as dance leaders, that energy fuels everything we do. We are deeply grateful for your support and for the joy you bring to this event.
